The History of Sai Baba Temple Ayyavaripalem

A Dream Begins

Every temple begins with faith. The dream of establishing Sri Sai Baba Temple in Ayyavaripalem started in 2011, when the devotees and elders of the village came together with a shared vision — to create a sacred place dedicated to Shirdi Sai Baba.

A Generous Donation

One of the most significant milestones in this journey was the generous donation of land. Responding to the heartfelt request of the villagers, he came forward and gave the land for the temple — making the dream a reality.

Sai Baba Arrives

The sacred Sai Baba idol — the spiritual heart of the temple — was generously donated by AMR Construction, Hyderabad. The temple and villagers remain deeply grateful for this noble contribution.

Temple Inauguration

On 21 April 2016, Sri Sai Baba Temple officially opened its doors to devotees. The day marked a historic moment for the entire village — a dream, held for five years, finally realised.

The Difficult Years

Running a temple requires continuous support. During the early years, a severe drought affected the village's economy.

Maintaining daily expenses, supporting the priest and conducting temple activities became increasingly difficult — but faith held firm.

The Turning Point

Around 2018, something extraordinary happened. Young men and women from Ayyavaripalem who had moved to different cities for employment came together — voluntarily. They began contributing every month to sustain the temple.

  • Priest salaries
  • Temple maintenance
  • Daily poojas
  • Better facilities
  • Sustainable operations

"This chapter represents the true spirit of community — what a village can achieve when united by faith and selfless service."
